Mdm. Nurliyana Naharuddin is a Clinical Dietitian from Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM. By profession, she is a clinical dietitian and also as a clinical instructor. Mdm Liyana earned her Bachelor from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is currently in process of completed her Master at Universiti Putra Malaysia in the field of Clinical Nutrition by research. Her research area is to motivate pediatrics patients in achieving an optimal growth and reduce the risk of under-nutrition thru nutrition management. Her niche area of practice is currently in Pediatric field. She also had made a few remarkable media appearances (Media Prima TV3/TV Al-Hijrah/Suria.fm) and writing several articles in magazines (Majalah Jelita/Infiniti) and newspapers (Harian Metro) in various field including the information on child health. Mdm Liyana also had actively involved in a community program that facilitates the parents/public in preparing a healthy food for their children by using food decoration or Bento box. The most recent event that she involves is the ‘UPM’s Young Scientist Day’ program and IMFed Feeding Difficulties Forum. She is now trying to spread her wings in the advancement of a dietetic industry by creating her own label entrepreneurship in bento box business under the label of @bentobyliyana.
