Georgen graduated from the International Medical University (IMU) with a bachelor degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in year 2012. He then joined the National Heart Institute (IJN) as a clinical dietitian for 4 years prior to joining Holmusk, a digital health company. He provides coaching for people with diabetes and prediabetes via Glycoleap and overweight teenagers and parents of overweight pre-schooler via Superleap, both are telehealth platforms developed by Holmusk.

With his interest in health promotion and love for cooking, he started a Facebook page and Youtube Channel named “Georgen Cooking”. These platforms are aimed at making the learning of healthy eating and cooking fun and easy. He started developing healthy recipe videos and shared them on Georgen Cooking. The page has been receiving positive feedback, which motivates him to share more nutrition knowledge in this friendlier manner via digital platform to reach more people.

Throughout his career as a dietitian, Georgen has been a speaker at public forums, workshops, culinary school and corporates. His nutrition expertise is also regularly featured in the media, including national TV programs and radio interviews. He is a content contributor, collaborating with industry in developing healthy recipes and booklets, and writing nutrition articles for health magazine and currently one of the members of the editorial advisory board for Health Today Magazine, Malaysia.

Georgen is also a Council Member of the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association, leading the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) subcommittee, responsible for planning and implementation of CPDs for MDA members.

Outside of his work, Georgen is wedding singer and a proud uncle of four nieces!
